This is a character in a Phantasy Star Online/Universe machinma comic I've been putting together for a few months now--CAST Away.
This is Codon Alicia, F Gattaca's partner machine, which are cousins to PSO's MAGs; like those, they assist their masters, but Partner Machines do it differently; they are something of both a maid and a butler, doing their best to keep their owner's life on track. Employees of the GUARDIANS security corporation are furnished with their own partner machine which they are allowed to grow as they see fit. At the final level of their growth, the machines take on a miniature human form and can fight alongside their owners if they take them along in missions.
There's more to Codon Alicia than meets the eye, though--she might appear to be a standard GH440-model partner machine, but the fact her clothing is a completely different color tips off many to the fact that she is, in polite terms, "nonstandard." This might encourage people into thinking she's been illegally modified to become more powerful than your standard partner machine ... but in truth they'd only be right about the illegally modified bit. In many ways, she's quite dysfunctional. This will be explained in the story early on, but there's some hints in the quotes for this pic as to why she is the way she is.

I was going to try and upload this on the date marked on the picture, but the wave of final exams in this semester forbade it. Therefore I instead uploaded it now, May 1st!
Considering how ... well, certain long-time complications with some of the voice actors for Ragnarok Wisdom's 2008 April Fool's flash movie have yet to be resolved as of this upload, I decided to keep on the ball and try to do a relatively quick concept art CG, similar in style to the ones I did for Shadows in the Light previously. This was done at 300 DPI quality, but unlike my recent flash-based CGs (for hitgifts and the like) I've only used Flash to construct the lineart. I've been trying to use the techniques I had for SitL's CGs, with The GIMP (Photoshop clone) on a picture of that size rather than do the entire thing in Flash.
Enjoy!
EDIT, 05/06/08: After observations from people on other communities, I tried to reduce the emphasis on Codon Alicia's rear. I had tried to emulate the seemingly poofy dresses of the GH44X line, and her butt didn't seem so big in the lineart--so I'm guessing it was the shading that was the problem. Does it look any better?
Since I know even less about PSU than I do about RO, I have no idea what I was expecting, but it wasn't, uh, what appears to be a Force (I've played PSO enough to know what one is) with a top hat, a handheld rocket launcher, and a sort of robotic tree stump.
Well, for the PC/PS2/PS3 version, you've got two payment options. You can go for half a year for a single payment of $50, or you can go for a recurring monthly payment of $10.
Your first-ever payment wil lget you a free month (for the half-year option) or half a month (for the monthly option).
PSU is also on X-Box Live, but I don't know the payment scheme XBL uses ... I've never owned a 360 or an X-Box.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
